Fay Boyer 1921-2013
Mom passed on, just as she hoped she would, peacefully, quietly, in her sleep.
I am back in Georgia…..on the Mourning Bench.
I will lose myself in the garden for a while. It needs my attention. Four months of neglect during the growing season has been disastrous!
Oh I’m so sorry for your loss – going peacefully is the best we can all hope for. What a fabulous picture to have of her as a remembrance!
Thank you Stefan, She was 16 in that photo.
So sorry for your loss, but what a blessing she passed away peacefully and quietly. That is my wish!
Thank you Sandy, that is my wish too.
Loved this blog!

Thank you Joan. Looking for a bit of quiet time.
Oh, wasn’t she lovely! I’ve been thinking of you while you were away. I’m so sorry for your loss, but glad her passing was peaceful. May your garden bring you comfort.
Thank you so much. I appreciate you stopping by and leaving a comment. There is nothing like a garden for comfort..
Have thought about you often but knew you were with your Mom. I am so sorry but glad it happened that way. Perhaps a trip up north would do you good. Lunch is always available and the new guest room is waiting for its first guest. Think about it.
A visit with you may be just what I need. Lets make it soon.
Sandra, I have asked about you many times and Jenny assumed where you were. I am very sorry for your loss. She was beautiful!

Beautiful picture of your mother. I hope you will find solace in your garden and can’t help but wonder if she too was a gardener. Peace.
Thank you for taking the time to comment. It was my Grandmother who was THE gardener in the family. Mom was always perfectly manicured.
